About Me

“If I wasn’t moving right now, I’d be jealous of those who were.”

My journal in August, 2013.

From moving state to state, to living on four different continents, life has become a bit of an adventure. Sometimes I can make sense of it, sometimes I can’t- but I always try and make the most of it.

Somehow over the years I’ve been able to realize that a few things matter in life. It’s not always what you have, where you’ve been or where you’re going, but rather often times it is in your attitude. I have a strong belief in intentional and authentic living. Wherever I end up, I search for community, activity and a liveliness I can move with. I’ve spent a lifetime documenting my daily life through journalling, photographing and the always entertaining, eye opening encounters of my day to day life. Currently, I have moved to the tips of southern South Africa, made my way through kimchi consuming South Korea, traveled independently through over ten countries and am currently residing with a family in a small village in the Republic of Georgia. This journey of life has helped me gain experience, learn about culture and people, grow in my own perspectives and ways of viewing and understanding the world and propelled me forward out of curiosity’s sake, adventure and because I simply cannot sit still. A lot of times I don’t know where I’ll be in a month or year down the road, but one thing I am sure I’ll always do is enjoy the moment.

  1. I love reading your blogs! You do exactly what I have always dreamed of doing. If you don’t mind, I was wondering how you got started in this and how you are able to support your travels. 🙂
